Lost In Space Major Donald West was played by the broodingly handsome actor, Mark Goddard. From the very first episode of this science fiction show, Don was destined to be a hit with the female viewers. He was the military man traveling with the scientific space family - which meant he had a more structured, 'let's fight' mentality.
There is no doubt that from the beginning Lost In Space's Don West was also intended to be the love interest of the beautiful Judy Robinson. There was a good chemistry between them and as the show progressed, so did their relationship.
