Panthor is a giant purple panther. He was depicted as being the pet of the evil Skeletor. Panthor was most commonly seen sitting at Skeletors' feet on the right hand side of his throne. Panthor played only a secondary role in the series. He was the opposite end of the spectrum from He-Man's Battle Cat.

Panthor had his own unique armor. He was seen wearing this armor in only a few of the episodes. This character was greatly downplayed in the series. Although, when the panther was seen, he played a significant role and enhanced Skeletor's role. He was a vicious companion who held his own in battles. Domineering, and significantly larger than Battle Cat, Panthor was a force to be reckoned with in battle.
